Both ball clubs share and are recognized on the east coast from Pennsylvania to North Carolina.  The rivalry is about membership in a professional athletic network where team interests have overlapped.  The rivalry for the east coast territory is similar to the NFL&#8217;s Ravens and Washington Redskins domination on the east coast.
