Founded in the fall of 1999, JC Marketing Communications (JCMC) was formed by our Marketing Strategist, Creative Director, and President, Joseph (Joe) Cekauskas (surname pronounced See-cows-kiss). Joe has spent nearly three decades sharpening his expertise in marketing communications. Considered a perfectionist and over-achiever, Joe is an anomoly in the advertising world because he is a photoshop guru...a print collateral and web expert...and a marketing strategist/consultant all rolled into one. His knowledge of many market segments is only surpassed by his intense dedication for his clients return on investment success. The consummate team player, Joe is the one guy YOU want to partner with on your next project.

Joe is regarded as a customers customer advocate. Joe notes, "In order to execute our client's mission successfully, I have to be an expert in their industry so I can think like my clients, client. When this occurs, we can help our client determine what their clients most desire...and bring about company-wide advancements that ultimately increase their market share."

Prior to forming JCMC, Joe was a partner for 13+ years at his 50+ person full-service agency located in Central Connecticut. Under his guidance, and that of his three partners, the agency grew from 10-to-over 50 employees. There, the primary methodology of marketing was "image" or "ME-focused" advertising. It was during this tenure, Joe was 151% confident that "YOU focused" marketing was NOT getting the best return on investment (ROI) for clients. Joe notes, "Our organization was growing because of the internet boom, but some of us weren't convinced that our efforts resulted in a clients market share increasing. My former ownership team really believed they were doing right by each client despite the absence of quantifiable, trackable, measurable methods. I tried hard to convince them, but my former partners truly believed in "ME-focused" methodology...and today they are consumed with award gathering."

Outside of the office, Joe is a devoted husband to his wife of 25+ years—supportive father and friend to his two sons. Joe has been called their partner, mentor, coach, friend...and gardener aficionado. A graduate of the University of Hartford, Joe completed his degree in under 3.5 years.

In January of 2006, Felix Mimó was named our director of internet operations. Prior to JC Marketing Communications, Felix teamed with Joe at his previous ad agency. Their work relationship spans 13+ years. Felix heads JCMCs team of internet solution providers who accomplish client goals from design...through programming...through Search Engine Optimization. Felix's client focused, out-of-box thinking allows the teams designs to be unique for each client. Programming skills add an esoteric value to the teams design solutions. This enables JCMC to enhance your web presence...the results speak for themselves.

Our photography department is headed by Mike Giannaccio. An outstanding contributor for 20+ years, nearly all of Mike's photo work is featured in our portfolio of final deliverables. A consummate lighting and color technician, Mike is responsible for both our video and still photography assignments. Whether on-location or in-studio, Mike is always willing to go above and beyond to get the best shot or edit possible. An adventurous guy, Mike enjoys traveling with his wife and two children.

Our JCMC team of marketing colleagues come from diverse backgrounds including corporate communications and direct response marketing philosophies. Combined, our team has nearly 125 years in marketing and public relations. Recently, our team welcomed a new art director, Jason Cekauskas. Jason brings a freshness and excitement to our staff. This customer base provides the text/content for print materials and is looking for a professional piece in return. Jason is an accomplished computer artist who communicates your message skillfully in all he does. In addition, Jason is an asset to clients who require his illustration talent. His skillset also includes employing effective marketing methodologies within his trendsetting computer abilities. Articulate and engaging, Jason is hard-working, conscientious, results-oriented and customer-driven.
